Dear Escalante-Biggs Academy Community,
As November marks the month of “gratitude,” I would like to thank you for trusting us to educate and take care of your children every day. We look forward to having you join us this month to eat with your students during the Thanksgiving Luncheon on November 9th. The luncheon will take place during your child’s regular lunch time, please be sure to arrive early to pay for your ticket and stay only during the allotted time for your class so that other families may enjoy lunch with their students:

11:00-11:25 am – Rm 121, 122, 126, 127
11:30-11:55 am – Rm 123, 108, 120
12:00-12:25 pm – Rm 109, 110, 111
12:30-12:55 pm – Rm 112, 113, 114, 115
**Space is limited so only guests that RSVP’d by October 27 will be able to attend.
Our ECE classes will be starting the grocery store unit soon and will be learning so much new vocabulary around the different departments and roles in grocery stores. We encourage you to continue these conversations with your children as you go about your shopping. In Kindergarten, we will start an exploration of plants and learning about how trees change throughout the seasons. Fall has been the perfect time to explore that with the changing leaves!
As the weather begins to get colder, please be mindful of traffic signs and speed limits. We don’t want any of our babies and families getting hit by cars. Also, please adhere to all of the rules and regulations regarding no parking areas and entry and exiting traffic patterns. All of these rules are in place for your safety and the safety of others. Thank you in advance for your continued support and cooperation.

Como noviembre marca el mes de la “gratitud”, me gustaría agradecerles por confiar en nosotros para educar y cuidar a sus hijos todos los días. Esperamos que se una a nosotros este mes para comer con sus estudiantes durante el almuerzo de Acción de Gracias el 9 de noviembre. El almuerzo se llevará a cabo durante el horario habitual de almuerzo de su hijo/a, asegúrese de llegar temprano para pagar su boleto y quédese solo durante el tiempo asignado para su clase para que otras familias puedan disfrutar del almuerzo con sus estudiantes:

**El espacio es limitado, por lo que solo podrán asistir los invitados que hayan confirmado su asistencia antes del 27 de octubre.
Nuestras clases de ECE pronto comenzarán la unidad del supermercado y aprenderán mucho vocabulario nuevo sobre los diferentes departamentos y funciones de las tiendas. Le recomendamos que continúe estas conversaciones con sus hijos mientras realiza sus compras. En Kindergarten, comenzaremos a explorar las plantas y aprenderemos cómo los árboles cambian a lo largo de las estaciones. ¡El otoño ha sido el momento perfecto para explorar eso con las hojas cambiantes!
A medida que el clima comienza a hacer más frío, tenga en cuenta las señales de tránsito y los límites de velocidad. No queremos que ninguno de nuestros bebés y familias sea atropellado por un carro. Además, cumpla con todas las reglas y regulaciones relacionadas con áreas de no estacionamiento y patrones de tráfico de entrada y salida. Todas estas reglas están implementadas para su seguridad y la de los demás. Gracias de antemano por su continuo apoyo y cooperación.
